When registering or making a payment with a Korean Credit/Debit Card, a mobile identity verification process is required in accordance with Korean financial regulations and policies.
Why is my verification failing?
Verification typically fails if there is a discrepancy between your personal information. Specifically, your phone number registered with your mobile carrier (KT, LG U+, SKT, etc.) must match the name and information on your RC (Residence Card).
Common reasons for failure include:
The name format on your mobile plan is different from your RC.
Your phone number is not officially linked to your identity.
You are using a prepaid SIM that has not been verified with your RC.
How to Resolve the Issue
Since EnkoStay does not manage mobile carrier data or banking authentication, you must contact your mobile service provider directly to resolve this.
Contact your Carrier: Reach out to your mobile carrier’s customer service (KT, LG U+, SKT, or Budget Phone providers).
Request Identity Sync: Explain that your identity verification is failing and ask them to ensure your mobile account information matches your RC exactly.
Retry on EnkoStay: Once the carrier updates your information, please try the payment or registration process again on our Platform.
