Lease cancellations prior to move-in on Enkostay are classified into two categories.
Since the procedures and penalty applications vary entirely depending on the reason for cancellation, please thoroughly review the guidelines below before proceeding.
1. Cancellations Due to Host Issues (β οΈ Read First)
If the cancellation is being initiated due to a fault, issue, or direct request from the Host (e.g., property defects, double-bookings, host's personal reasons), please DO NOT click or proceed with the manual cancellation button on the app/website.
Correct Procedure: Please contact the Enkostay Platform immediately via stay_support@enko.kr to report the issue.
Important Note: If you voluntarily process the cancellation through the system before a clear investigation and result regarding the host's fault are established, it will be recognized as a tenant-initiated cancellation. This may result in unfair penalties or financial disadvantages to you (the Tenant).
2. How to Request a Cancellation (Tenant-Initiated)
If you are initiating the cancellation for personal reasons, you can process the request directly through your account on the Enkostay app or website.

[My Booking]β Select your[Stay]β View[Detail]β Click the[Cancellation]button at the bottom.
Penalty & Refund Check: Before finalizing your request, you can review the estimated Tenant Penalty amount and the final refundable balance on the cancellation page in accordance with the terms of your Lease Agreement.
π« Crucial Warnings for Self-Cancellation
Irreversible Action: Once a cancellation is finalized through the platform feature, the contract cannot be restored or undone under any circumstances.
No Additional Refunds: No additional refunds outside of the final amount confirmed on the cancellation screen will be applied or processed afterward. Please double-check everything before confirming.
