Once your host accepts your lease request, they cannot change or cancel the contract without your agreement. If your host needs you to move out earlier than planned, the decision is entirely yours.
If you agree to move out early:
- Let us know the move-out date you've agreed on with your host. We'll update your lease agreement details accordingly. You'll receive a refund for the remaining period, including both rent and the platform service fee.
If you don't agree to move out early:
- Your host cannot force you to leave or terminate the contract. You have the right to stay for the full contract period. Your host may try to find a solution—such as offering temporary accommodation for the remaining period. Since this situation is due to your host's circumstances, the platform service fee you paid will be charged back to the host.
- If you choose to terminate the contract immediately due to this situation, you'll receive a full refund for the remaining period (rent and platform service fee). Your host will be charged cancellation penalties.
No matter what you decide, contact us right away so we can help you and update your contract accordingly.
