When multiple Tenants occupy a single Stay under one Lease Agreement, the number of available RC support documents depends strictly on the occupancy limit set for that specific room or Stay.
Prerequisites for Multi-Tenant RC Issuance:
As shown in the screenshots, two conditions must be met before RC documents can be issued for multiple tenants:
- The Stay itself must accommodate multiple tenants. The room you book must have an occupancy limit that allows more than one person (e.g., "Max 6 people").
- You must have entered the correct number of tenants at the time of booking. The "How many?" field must reflect the actual number of residents who will need RC documents.
To ensure a smooth RC issuance process for all residents, please verify the number of actual residents before the Lease Agreement is approved. If necessary, request the Host to adjust the occupancy limit to match the actual number of residents.
Occupancy Limit vs. RC Issuance Examples:
- Case 1: Occupancy Limit: 2 / Actual Residents: 1 → RC issuance is available for 1 person.
- Case 2: Occupancy Limit: 1 / Actual Residents: 2 → RC issuance is available for only 1 person. (Adjustment required)
- Case 3: Occupancy Limit: 2 / Actual Residents: 2 → RC issuance is available for both people.
⚠️ Important: Corrections Are Costly
If you entered the wrong number of tenants during booking and only 1 RC slot is available, adding additional tenants later will incur a correction fee of 33,000 KRW per additional person. As shown in the submission screen, once RC information is submitted, it is irreversible — edits are impossible, and any correction to the RC document will cost 33,000 KRW. Therefore, it is critical to double-check the number of tenants before finalizing your booking and payment.
What should I do?
If your actual number of residents exceeds the current occupancy limit of the Stay, you must contact the Host through the Platform to request a change in the limit before the contract is finalized. This step is essential to ensure that all residents can legally receive their RC support documents.
